About the home
"How's the Serenity" is a family home in Cowes, just a 3 min drive from the Anderson Road boat ramp. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The large open plan living and dining room (with smart TV) opens into the well equipped kitchen which also provides access to the deck. All three good-sized bedrooms open into the living/dining room and the recently renovated bathroom (with shower & toilet) also doubles as a laundry.
Outdoor Areas
The great fully covered deck (with BBQ & seating for 8) overlooks the large fully enclosed yard with an outdoor hot & cold shower. There is space for 3-4 cars/boats on the driveway.
Kitchen
The fully appointed main kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, toaster, kettle, Nespresso compatible coffee machine, etc. plus a double sink, large pantry, fridge, electric oven and cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The living room has a coonara wood heater, and there are ceiling fans in the living/dining room, plus one in each bedroom. There are also 3 mobile heaters that can be used as required. A split system is also located on the back wall between the kitchen and the bathroom to cover the whole area.
Please note, some firewood may be provided to get you started; when this is exhausted, guests are to purchase themselves.
Bedroom Configuration:
"How's the Serenity" is set up to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests:
Bedroom 1: One King bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed and One Single bed
Bedroom 3: One Single bed and One set of Single bunks
Linen
A standard booking comes with doonas with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bath mats. Guests can bring their own sheets (flat and fitted), pillow cases and towels or opt to pay extra for this 'optional linen'. The cost to provide optional linen is a once off fee per stay of 30 per king/queen/double bed and 15 per single bed. Please advise us if you would like this additional service.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
